I cant beleive there are any available...it has to be the single quickest growing number of vehicle in Perth atm.

Dropped the missus of at the Cockburn Central trainstation which is 1km from my house....saw no less than 8 JKs in the 10 minutes it took to cross Armidale Rd...drop her off and cross back.

Yeah, I noticed that also, I don't get to Perth that much as I live in the bush, but seems like the ratio of Jeeps to other brand 4WD's has risen dramatically. Its not like the old days in the CJ6 not many Jeeps to wave at then.
Maybe the Queenslanders should start assembling Jeeps again to keep up with the demand.LOL

I have to agree,

When I got mine, I would be lucky to see one in a week; now see about 6 or 7 a day...

many are stock with female drivers(4 door). The new camper wagon for 10-20 grand less?

Sounds like there are no Rubicons in the country.
When I ordered mine 12 months ago, I was lucky there was one in Sydney.
The stealer had to have in transported down to Melbourne. Still had to wait 4 weeks or so

Most people just want the standard wranglers, so the dealers do not keep many Rubicons in stock.

Most dealer sales managers will have access to information concerning what models are inbound on which ships and can put a hold on one if it is unallocated (or even arrange a swap with one allocated already if they haven't been tagged to a buyer). This is how my son in central Qld managed to get his JK Unlimited in six weeks verses waiting six months. THe Qld dealers were all telling him to order and wait six months, he rang me and I called my dealer sales manager in Sydney and he found exactly what my son wanted on an inbound boat. We put a hold on it, he kept us informed of its arrival, passage through customs, and arrival at his yard. I went out and inspected it and took delivery for my son and then this dealer shipped the vehicle by tranporter to Qld for my son to pick up at his local dealer. So the moral of the story is you can find them and get them but you need to get a sales manager willing to work with you. Obviously this sames manager has all of our future Jeep business.

The problem i had was the colour, apparantly the rubicons are now only avaible in silver and black.I could of had a black one which was on its way from the states but do not like the black colour. There seems to be plenty of wranglers around Brisbane at the moment,i had trouble finding a dealer with a Rubicon for a test drive.

That is strange. My Rubicon is Jeep Green and that was in stock (Sydney).
