Ness its not that big a job, I would say in 3 weekends you could have the CJ10 prep and painted and back rolling again , depending on rust,
I am working on it in between work on the farm, The CJ10 is very easy to strip down, Just the roof bolts were rusted ., so I had to cut them out, other wise it would of only taken 2-3 hrs to strip it

And for room I have the rolling chassis sitting outside and doing most of the work on panels and tub in a lean too of the side of one of the sheds The old dirt floor workshop

Nope it will not be ready for the Jamboree, I have hit a stumbling block with getting a new cowl panel for it, the cowl is the only thing holding up finishing the tub , So decided in the meantime to put the Holden heater/Aircon box in while I try and source a cowl panel.

TOYROX

It went well with the 360, The motor was a little tired when I got it, but still had plenty of HP and torque and fairly easy to install too, I made the mistake of using my 258 flywheel on it, But I had no vibration through the drive line as is said to happen when using a 258 Flywheel on a 360
As I have found out through some research, you can use a 258 Flywheel on a 360, But something must be done to the 258 flywheel before you can use it on a 360, What is done to the 258 flywheel , I am not sure and no one will give the answer, It must be a top secret thing

No probs for the pic , my pleasure to be of some help to you.

More pics to come soon
I am not too good with a camera, so I will wait for my brother to have time to take pics.

Today I did a little bit on the retrofit of the Holden heater box. I have cut the piece of the Jeep firewall and tacked the piece of Holden firewall into the Jeep, if I get time tomorrow I will fab up some plates to to fill in the space in the firewall just above the Trans tunnel were Jeep mates Holden

I will also try and use one of those hot air paint stripper gun to mold the Holden demister section to the Jeep demister, Just need to stretch the plastic Holden one a little and oval it a bit more, Lucky I have 2 Holden demister sections

Just a quick update,

I have finished the firewall Holden retrofit and removed the rusty old cowl panel , which could have been a bad mistake removing the cowl panel,

I have tried 30+ companies in Australia and the USA to get a aftermarket cowl panel , Its either out of stock or never heard of that before or have no interest in helping me, I also tried for a good used one in Australia, but they are non existent

My many weeks of searching the net and with the help that one bloke in Australia and a few others in the USA have given me( much Appreciate the Help). I have managed to track down the actual manufacturer of the cowl panel, I will see where that leads me in my search for the allusive cowl panel

Well here is a pic of the Holden retrofit to the firewall finished and one with the heater/Aircon box in place.

I am over drilling out spot welds
I have just about done all I can to tub until i can get a cowl panel

Cheers Wraith
