The main concern is that the wheels are covered from a frontal impact perspective. I have the same hassles with my Manx beach buggy. Yes you will probably get away with a stubby but legally its a no no and if the coppers want to have a go, you are in the wrong. Also if you have an accident you will have hassles if you've caused damage due to your wheels hitting not the bumper, ie if you run over someone rather than the bumper pushing them past the wheel (yeah i know if ya running 35s they will still go under!!).

I suppose it's a little open to interpretation - but I say the tub is the body... as the flare are not structural and functions solely to cover the tyres....

Forget quick release sway bar, we need a bar with quick release ends so it converts into a stubby.
