Yeah thanks for the responses. I'll look into different switch panels and have to decide where I want to mount it.

I ended up grabbing the a pillar blank from dbor and ordered some narva switches through Bursons in Penrith (2x driving lights - one to go on with headlights and the other to turn on the lights regardless of high beam, 1x rear light for the reversing light - independant of the reverse gear being engaged and a blank one for... dont know yet haha) & from Jaycar today, also grabbed an illuminated on/off switch to go into the a pillar for something else (I had a reason in mind when I bought it heh) also grabbed some smaller led strip lights & a mercury switch for the hard top glass

What model is your jk? On Doubleblack that item says it only suits 2011 onwards models.

That's only half true about the pillar switch pod.... its made for the later dash but if you look inside it there's a line moulded into it that you trim at to fit the earlier dash.
Well at least there was on mine......
