Hey Tassie !!
Before I adjusted the caster on my XJ after lifting the front, I could get it to wobble if I hit a light bump at about 90km/hr.
Hitting the brakes did nothing until you were below 60km/hr.
If when it first started to shim, I swerved a little turning the wheel a little each way, I could stop it developing into a full DW. Hitting the brakes when the shim started just made sure it became DW.

yer the jeep isnt too bad atm it was worst when i had the 35"S no one could balance them properly and it had shimmy right from take off and (d/w) started at 45km-65km and if your on the highway your laughing just try getting it there lol

my comment was more directed at what chrysler had to say about its dw
the videos show something i was unaware, that is the axle housing actually wobbles laterally and all the arms are flexing

Its not poor form Yom, its sharing relevant Jeep information from various sources around the world. Why rewrite an article when the is the ability to share the knowledge as originally presented!

My work car is a Holden Commodore. It has a reminder that pops up after 2 hours of driving reminding you to take a rest break. My JK doen't have this feature, Maybe DW has been designed in to keep us alert. When it hits, its one hell of a wake-up call.

It's 2012, the human race has sent a man to the moon, developed supercomputers than can model the planets weather, cloned animals....

AND WE CAN"T DEVELOP A LIVE AXLE VEHICLE THAT DOESN'T DEATH WOBBLE!
