Id much rather make a donation and pay for stickers than have to put up with a heap of adds on every page. I think Jimmy does a great job of keepin this place going without having to subject us to that shit.

i am not saying he doesnt do a great job and like i said in my original post i love this site. when you get your car serviced and the mechanic puts the sticker on the back of your car to say who they are do you leave it on? or the wheel cover that says the company you got your jeep from do you leave that on. (i did till i got another 1) i love my jeep but that doesnt mean i am going to advertise for the company i bought it from on it.

its us that makes this site what it is the forum users. because we come here everyday and read and write posts that the sponsors look at it and think its a good investment to advertise on here. imagine if there was double the amount of members on here that there are today. the sponsors would pay more to put there logo or add here because of the volume of people here. on the other side what if we all decided not to use the site anymore then the sponsors would leave as well. every person i haqve ever spoken to who has a jeep i have asked if there on this site and i tell them they should join. i havnt actually met anyone yet since i joined that was on the site already.

By my understanding AJOR is non profit. Therefore, if we want it, we make a contribution. Its also a club not a service provider. Club members usually show their loyalty.

I also think that JB has set up this site more for jeep enthusiasts rather than a money making venture for commercial enterprises. The advertising here is pretty much relevent to the site.

I'm guessing you turn up to parties and drink every body elses grog too.

Oh and JB, I did try the other day but mr wooders doesnt have stickers for sale on your behalf.

Fair dinkum Dave,
that hole your digging is getting bigger and bigger. Dude, if you want the stickers, reach into your pocket and spring for them. At the end of the day , who do you think is paying, if you don't? Next time you ask a mechanical question and get a reply that saves you from a visit to the workshop, maybe you won't bauk at a couple of bob for them........

Rod

ps...your wheeling a jk so you must have some loose schrapnel kicking around..
