I recently have replaced filter, when installed i wet seals with some diesel.
After install i had power back for a bit and then it cut out again, although now after 5 days of daily driving it is 85% of the time i have power and only 15% of the time i do not. I think next will be chasing down a new top half of filter (i believe that the seal inside the manual plunger is leaking as fuel comes up through there when I use the plunger)
unfortunately i cannot get an oring small enough to squeeze over the top.
it is also inconvenient that i have power most of the time as I never can be sure if what i have done has made any difference.
