Thanks guys.

Ok, went in to see them today, sales person greets me and pulls out the colour tiles - with one exception ofcourse.
To which I say I really do want a blue jeep, given that this is a significant investment from my part I do not want to settle for a colour that I'm not totally happy with.

I am shown a copy of my purchase contract which was faxed to the US - faxed back with a hand written note ... "please ask customer to consider other colour options".

I have and will wait for steel blue.

They could not give me an answer in so far as how long I am lilkely to be wating , seriously you would think these cars are a limited edition or something. I am sure it will be worth the wait but I didn't expect it to be so difficult to obtain one.

Guy told me they were having difficulty moving it coz no-one wants the blue. MAybe you could get hold on this one???

Hey cheers for that..

"No one wants bue"... geez my dealer told me blue is in high demand, which is why I am still waiting - what were your impressions on the colour? - because they are so rare I am yet to see on in the flesh, err I mean steel...

I thought it looked really good. If you like the BLue without seeing it in the flesh yet, I think you will like it more when you see it.
ITs pretty dark, sort of like a metallic gun metal blue. The guy at the delaership reckoned they'd called all the people on their waiting list but they were all after other colours so wanted to wait. I think it had tinted windows too if memory serves. cheers.

I suggest ringing every bloody dealer in your State, in NSW I was told there was only 5 2 door CRD manuals left, A few quick phone calls uncovered 2 more colours where deals fell thru and they had not yet been put back on stock
