Have you ever watched these "Jeep Haters" as you dirive by in your Jeep, They all stare and you can see them thinking, "Geez Those Jeeps look good". The more they protest, secretly they more they wish they had one..

Gold. Absolute Gold.

I have a had Jeeps for around 10 years (XJ and JK) - I havent really had to buy any parts, and the odd one or two minor things I have had to get were easy and cheap! It tows well, is very comfortable, better stereo than any other 4WD, great on the Highway, great off road...

And best of all, they look awsome - anything else just looks like a 4WD, a Jeep looks like a Jeep.

Too funny Maaark, most men try to shut down their monitors real quick for other reasons

There's only one way around her .... you know that "gorgeous diamond ring", "divine watch" or "viciously expensive handbag" (the one that costs more than the previous 2 items put together), new kitchen or bathroom, that she's been lusting after for ages? Well, simply find the Jeep you want to buy, acquire whatever it is her heart desires on the same day you put down the deposit on the Jeep & present her with it/them ... the Jeep will fade into insignificance for her, and you'll be able to strut around saying, "It's a Jeep thing ..." for the rest of your days.

If you spend a few more dollars you can get a nice economical diesel in a Grandy or settle for a Cherokee for around 20k.
There seems to be a few at www.tradingpost.com.au web site.

Just casually mention you cant tow him out as a jeep isnt good enough for 4x4 tasks, remember ??? .... as you drive off

What should be a good 2nd hand diesel XJ is the one in the 4sale section at the moment .... Known history and all that .....

Buy the Jeep and if it is a mistake the worst you have to do is sell it and buy a Patrol.
