I supposed to be working but there is nothing to do, or should I say nothing I want to, easier to get on here.

The what have you done to your XJ has been busy like always. It seems like that thread will only end when there is nothing left to do on an XJ. And my guess is that will only happen when the last one has been melted down to make a new Great Wall or another high riser in China.

The Commander will slowly die off I think as we're not getting any more out here...I'm considering the new Ford Ranger so my Jeep may get the boot and go to some one else. If they are not into forums then it dies a little more....

Bit sad I guess...but Commanders were just too much $$$$$ and never really took off out here.

I laugh at them as I blow them away, towing my caravan.

I wouldn't buy a Ford Ranger as a family vehicle:
The tailgate isn’t lockable,
No three-point inertia belt for the centre passenger rear seat,
Only a three-star ANCAP rating,
And it's a Ford.

Fair enough too...I have heard the 2012 Ranger will be a size competitor for the Toyota Hilux I’ll still look at one I reckon anyway, as a duel cab ute suites my needs more now. The Hilux is way way over priced, a bit like the Jeep Commanders were….
