Thanks Pommy but grabbed Wazza's this morning. Did the job no probs.
Tried the screwdriver method on a wrecker pump i picked up and it dented up the clutch face of the pulley and damaged the bearing that i wanted to put in. On an unrelated note the new rockauto listing bearing is to big so if its needed by anyone else with same compressor let me know.
