Assuming the average trade in price is $27k, just because private sellers are asking $35k doesnt mean they're getting it.......
You'll get what the market is prepared to pay. And what you're prepared to sell it for. But remember, cars are the worst investment you'll ever make. So be prepared to lose.
Put a high price on it (ie what you really want) and you'll die with it still sitting in the driveway.......

27 seems about right to me mate. jeeps are a niche market car and as such have virtually no resale value. if you want resale value you have to look at mainstream like toyota. just a fact of life,not nice, but true. all us jeep owners are in the same boat.
