Yeah GC ! You're rite about the metal JerryCans..Shudder to think how many I have tossed out..Split where the indents join like a "V" at the sharp point..Rheem plastic ones I got in 1989 for our Cape York still work like new,all four of them..Expansion/Contraction kills metal ones (losing the juice hurts also)..Also note last time I checked only one brand of red colored plastic ones was certified to carry fuel INSIDE a lite plane..I understand no metal ones are legal..
