Depends on where in Vic you are! Even lots of variation in Melbourne.
For your final flush, best find someone on rainwater.
All town water has chlorine in it. It can damage alloy & plastic parts.
Good luck!

I’ve just always kept pushing in the 8 year 500k concentrate and mixed at 33% distilled water then draining discarding a few times so the cooling system always remains at 33%. Mind you I purchased a 20l drum of concentrate as has a two small cars to do as well. Then after each of those friggin hose changes, dumped the 4l odd that comes out and replaced so it more an ongoing thing. Possibly the most flushed vehicle I’ve owned.

I was hoping I could use the bypass line, which is the hose next to the thermostat but its very small ID would take a week................... If I can get hold of an old thermostat, pull the guts out and just swap it with the good thermostat then I can just plug into the header tank pipe with a hose, open radiator drain plug and give it a full flush, easy peasey and top up the engine the same way .............. about 80K km for me to source one for the next coolant change........

I did try to use air at the bypass with the other hose off the engine to push the coolant out but just blew bubbles.............

Sure did, but don't tell the wife I had it soaking in the kitchen sink. Trying to clean it internally even with a small bottle brush is next to impossible due to the multiple chambers, I found CLR is a bit pricey !!
