Hi Fellow Jeep Renovators its been a while!
I am driving a 99xj at present fitted with 4 x Rak units and a modified ally nudge bar with 1.25 inch ally pipe inserts. Made up a 3 piece frame for the front, which is a slide in fit to the nudge bar and used for carrying long loads.
Will try and get some snaps. I haven't given the racks a flogging though they suit my purpose for moving building materials, not exactly hard yacka off road use, though my driveway is pretty ugly! What ever works for one is what counts.

Post Roof Packs
I'm glad to hear that you were able to find the key to the roof racks and that the quality of the racks is much better than the earlier XJ's. It's great to know that not only is the quality better, but that the RAK manufacturer has done some re-development work to make it even better. The prices seem fair for the upgraded replacements for the XJ, so I'm glad you were able to find a good solution to the problem. Thanks for sharing your experience!
