Absolute miniscule chance your pump has failled or even started to fail...2018 model...bugger all k's unless it was 'big lapped' before you bought it.
You will have peace of mind when the recalls done.

Been following this for a few years and when they fail you stop, you stop big time.............. early signs seem to be a tiny bit of a falter before the internals spew into the system........... I'd be interested to find out what they did to sort them out, better internals or just an upgraded internal filter mesh, I hope the former ................... Might be due for a visit to daughters place and put mine in at the Toowoomba Dealer, think my nearest is down on the Sunshine Coast somewhere, think I would rather be somewhere if stranded I have a place to stay.

Yeah I guess it is peace of mind getting this done whether it has started damaging the car yet or not. Still rare for them to fail but when they fail it sounds pretty catastrophic the damage from what I have read.

The dealership said if they find any damage already done to any of the fuel system components, they will need the car for more than a day to replace all of those parts which I honestly hope is not the case because I don't want the car with them for longer. They said so far they did not have to do other parts of the fuel system and just only had to do the pump on cars that came in for the Z46.

Only getting this done because it seems important otherwise I really don't want to risk someone removing/swapping parts on the car at the moment because she is running good. Bad luck and trust issues lol

I just checked the Z46 recall notice complete with attached spreadsheet of 43K vehicles VIN's listed and I see my vehicle is not listed MY14, there are a few engine numbers close to mine so I take it its not every Jeep? as in the HP fuel pump unit may be slightly different manufacture locations or suffix number differences. I was going to call this week but I think I will be knocked back.
