If that is your issue then I daresay the Wrangler is not the car for you or your wife, why not look at a Cherokee, same sort of money much more car-like in its design brief.

Features wise I would be surprised if there is any more on your current Suby ( or any other 4by) than what is, and will be available (luxo-gizmo wise) on a Wrangler Renegade
No argument from me on anyhting you've said. Still doesn't change the fact that the Mrs doesn't like the JK Unlimited. Her idea of 'adequate features' is something like a Prado Grande or a WH limited. I've already told her that her eyes are richer than my wallet.

This is why I'm buying the missus a Mazda 6, then she won't have to put up with the "you have to get used to it" handling of my TJ. I wouldn't want to drive nay other vehicle than my lifted TJ, I just love the attention

I test drove a nice Red Unlimited yesterday. CRD 6 speed manual.
OMFG.......................... UNREAL. The diesel is excellent, plenty of power...PPPLLLLLEEEEEEENNNNNNNTY, I was amazed, I just don't get why?????they dont have a RUBICON diesel?????? But the CRD would be the pick, told 43000 onroad plus 2000 for a hardtop. THINKING VERY HARD.

go for it mate troy from ex surban was at coffs with his 2" lift running 35's very noice i must say and in silver too

reason for the crd not yet is theres way too much demand for the rubicon in general let alone crd from waht i got told at coffs its likely in 12-18 months time
