Mercedes-Benz has a technology-sharing agreement with the Renault-Nissan Alliance who make the 2.3 engine in the X Class X220d that is available.
In the new mid 2018 release X Class X350d the engine is a Merc built 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6, as well as Merc drivetrain and suspension.
But at $90K for the top spec model I think I'll give it a miss...
