haha yeah saw that in your email addy. Great to see someone building a Jeep to race. Shame its a class 8 though, would be great to see a Jeepspeed style, but from what I understand you can't make a factory 4wd into 2wd and have it fit into any of the class's in Australia.

I have looked at a lot of Jeepspeed Challenge and cup cars and that was the plan but as all plans go it went out the window because of your rules and the fact that I have driven a 5.7 Hemi....lol.
At the same time but not as good on a Jeep Forum we are half way to having our other car ready to replace the buggy. a 126" wheel base F150 truck for class four. Its like a Trophy truck but on a much smaller budget the target at this stage is under 60k but its not done yet. the plan is to have that done by the end of 2008 but I will not be showing that here till its done (maybe in the background of the jeep). I'm sure you will see it right after Randall when I send the pic's in to Dirtcomp.

Back to the Jeeps.
rubbing rubbing sanding sanding was it for today. We cleaned it ready for the new two-tone blue and black paint (maybe tomorrow).
Anyone in WA that know their way around the inside of a Jeeps interior feel free to offer your help. We can pay in spare parts....lol. As the first one has 3 interiors stacked to the roof inside of it, that took half the day to make head or tails of. It even had a full spare dash inside. We have a pile of grey plastic about a meter high.

I will post some pic's tomorrow
Cheers

Today saw the interior and side window go back in. Plus I had it running, Well kind of. The fuel pump has died and I took an hour to work it out. I was by myself today and found it very had to test for power for the pump when you can't do the key at the same time.....lol. I ended up using a long wire up to the dash from the harness near the tank, worked a treat.
Every thing is running along well and I only need a small list of parts. I will place a list in the wanted forums for them and see how I go
More pic's tomorrow
Thanks for looking

Almost ready for the pits on Monday....

I got a permit today and took it for a test drive. Will need to bleed the brakes tomorrow because the pedal feels like a half filled balloon. But apart from that its great. needs a tune like plugs and so on but it runs ok.

I'll post some pic's tonight when I get home.....
