I run the Bestop Safari, no drill header, jammer and tonneau. I removed my factory top about 3-4 weeks ago and it's now on the floor in a spare room staying in good condition and it's gonna stay there collecting dust all summer. I recently went up the beach camping for a few nights and on the way back on the Bruce Hwy (in slow slow traffic) we were caught in heavy rain for a few hours and it didn't leak all that much. When it rains i'm not concerned at all, as the aircon leaks more.

The rear flaps a bit, but eh - it's a jeep. I can't hear it now due to my sports exhaust anyway And it's BLOODY quick to puton and off compared to the factory top!!!

The top sit pretty snug into the header:

There is a thread about it on JU as well here.

personally not a fan of the safari tops.. they look gay.with the windjammer and toneau combination.. but if you have passengers then I can see a purpose for the safari top itself.but then again I dont recall anyone asking my opinion so I best just clam up

I've had a few different aftermarket brands (bestop and some no name brand?) I've given up on them, a mate a Riviera (big boat company) is custom making me my next bikini top as we speak. $120.. with my modifications and add on's.

HG, even though i don't have a lot of rear passengers i find the combo excellent with the safari top as it keeps the rear of the cab very dry and completely seals the soundbar from the rain. Plus i think it looks better than the standard bikini. But that's my opinion that no-one asked for so i too shall clam up

I like the new bestop removeable hard panel top - ie no flapping.....
The Breezer tops look great for shade protection, but think they'd do buggerall in the wet.....
Just avoid the rusted pony

Jeeps, how do you find it compares in colour with the original mopar soft top. I have a black mopar tonneau cover and want to buy a bikini top and windjammer and was wondering if bestop looks the same in colour.

Also how does the bikini top with the no drill header mount. I can see some bolts on your picture.
The reason I ask is that with the mopar tonneau cover you can have the soft top folded down when you put it on and was wondering it its hard to undo the bikini top to put the soft top. Thanks

Sir camel, let me know how you go with pricing. I'm keen on the bikini top though not the safari top.
