Default KJ Lower Ball Joint Recall

If you go to www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/index.jsp you can enter the last 8 characters of your VIN number and it tells if there are any incomplete recalls. Mine came up with the Safety Recall for the lower ball joints
Attached (if it worked) are letters between DC and NHTSA regarding the LBJ recall

KJ owners need to get onto DC Australia to push this recall in oz,.

I put my VIN in a couple of weeks ago and it said

STAUS - INCOMPLETE under Ball Joints

I guess that means it needs doing but not done yet.

A mate put the VIN of his 98 XJ in and it came up with 2 old recals which were inconmplete.

Hey guys, I just bought a KJ Renegade about a week ago
and have noticed a shudder in the front end under heavy braking
with a slight pull to the right. Does anyone think this could be a ball
joint problem? I called the previous owner who told me he experienced
the same problem 6 months ago and Jeep replaced the front discs
under warranty.

I had a similar problem with my '03 KJ, the brakes would shudder under heavy braking. They changed the discs and brake pads under warranty, the problem was the pads where causing a high spot on the disc which only got worse over time. So they actually changed the type of disc pads they where using.

Has anyone had their ball joints changed over. They have just started sending out letters in US for recall but have not heard anything here
