Its Finke week in Alice, and there is millions of dollars of off road vehicular sexiness in town, all of which remind me of how insignificant my shortened aerial modification really was.. I still think it was money well spent though.

All this and my Jeep has to go in for more warranty work to diagnose a troublesome electrical fault. So likely no camping for me this weekend..

Dropped my car off to get its new head today. Have a compass loan car for a couple of days. Not a fan at all. Feels like it's got a wound up rubber band under the bonnet..

Something that is really starting to shit me is people who say "I've got part xyz on my Jeep and I love it".. how the hell are you "in love" with a car part.. seriously.. I love my wife, I love my family.. but I sure as hell don't love my tyrea, shocks, switches, lockers etc etc.. RANT OVER 😈😈

Oh.. one last rant.. since when did tapatalk have bloody ads.. it is freakin annoying.. and they load slower than the thread so you click on a link and accidently hit an ad link.. grrr...

Bit pissed off the other night. Electricity on an my air comp is no longer working. I lugged it all the way from SA to Mathinna and the motor has a prob where it loads up but won't turn over the pump. I got it going briefly that night but once there was pressure in the tank the override switch pops out. Some sort of electrical prob with the motor. Have to drop it in and spend 40 bucks to get an idea on the cost of repair. Too annoying as I can get a Italian 17cfm one with galv tank for $1000 plus freight, normally a lot more. Wish I had the coin to call my buddy up and tell him to send me one over, rather than mess around with my 8cfm one.
