If someone prefers the look of the Safari over the Airflow then perhaps that is reason enough to buy that one, if that is all that's important, but it doesn't have anything to do with functionality. Rather than my offering my reasoning for why one is better than the other, here are some links that address the issues you raised:

People can make up their own minds based on what's important to them.

Aer you saying Safari is not functional? That is no different to what a safari snorkel can do. They both function the same in what they are meant to do, hence i then choose looks after knowing its quite capable of doing its job. Why have an ugly snorkel when you can have a good looking snorkel and do the same job?

Premhk - can you post some picks of your Safari snorkel? I'd love to see it.

Cheers!

Hre is the thread on the install for the safari I did on mine.... dead easy

http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=101256

Here is the one CRD stu did on his kj with Airflow...

http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...ad.php?t=64859

I personally found the instructions and templates of safari much better quality then airflow (Some jigging around is required from what I've read), I also think the materials used in Safari's are a bit better (My own thinking)and I like the look of Safari better. I bought mine from ARB for $495 and then an extra 200 give or take on tools and materials and then installed it myself for most of the day with some help towards the end of the day. It is an easy job with two people helping with beers under the belt and the instructions say you could get it done in six, however I think closer to four if planned correctly..... mine took a little longer due to some complications....

It only goes to show that any choice between the two is based on personal preference. You are much more likely to see Airflow ones on the road because they have been on the market for over five years whereas Safari are a relatively late entry into the market: which one looks better is a matter of opinion: which one works better will probably never be known unless someone bothers to do a technical comparison - and who would bother?
