Buying a WG V8 will seem like spending money on a corolla once a year compared to the BMW............
Are they really that bad?
I know they would be expensive compared to a normal car, but is it really that bad???

Quadradrive (1) was one of the best things Jeep ever did. It paved the way for Quadradrive 2 on the current model Grands.

In a nutshell, they are factory Mechanica LSD's that get tighter and tigher (ie: less wheel spin) with increased revs (without being stupid and holding it flat to the floor). I wont say they are 'Lockers' but they're the closest thing to it.
Now for QDII in the current Grands - they're lockers all right!

And yes the mighty 4.7 Powertech kills it in the sand.

they are 265/75 bfg muds... They are pretty tight.. there was slight rubbing to begin with so i removed the mud flaps and spaced out the plastic inside the guards and no drama's as of yet. Im dead set on 33' with a bigger lift so gonna have to look into cutting and modifying,, see how it goes haha..

What he said!

After the muster I'm now very keen to upsize my rubber and go a bit more mud oriented. Please let us know dimensions, make/model and whether any trimming was/is required. Do you have sway bar discos? I see you don't have a spare strapped to the roof so how does the larger tyre fit the spare tyre well?

Cheers and thanks for the great pics!
