as my theory goes, my lsd is modified, so thinking front locker will be the good bet, plus if i snap and axle i can still get home easily.

well apparantly if you runa rear locker, the rear axle is prone to snapping, front axles stronger, unless you launch the front wheels on tera firma and land while doin 5000rpm with locker enganged, mind you thats bad by any vehicles standard.

Hi again,

I agree with lots of those above, if your rear slippery diff is good then go with a front locker.

Rear locker only works best but if you already have rear slightly locked ( LSD say 30% torque transfer) then most added benefit comes from adding the front. In my case I have never had an LSD last long in other cars so I assume it would be no good before long and I just got both done at once.

I find I don't need to drive hard with lockers front and rear so haven't snapped anything. I did more damage to my vehicle having to drive hard and use momentum, revs etc etc when I didn't have lockers.

I keep hearing all these stories about broken CVs and axles. Has anyone actually done it... I mean its always a friend of a friend arrangement. Everyone keeps telling me I'm due to break one, but really, they gotta be pretty strong?
