The latest website update has subtly changed the way navigation works on the site. IMHO it's highly annoying because of the way I view the site.

In technical details: You've got a navigation "onclick" event in the table cell for each link to a forum or message as well as a "a href" entry for it. So, if you're in Opera or Firefox and you CTRL-click (Opera) or middle-mouse-button-click (Firefox) to open the forum/message in a new tab it opens in a new tab but also navigates the current window to the forum/message. Quite annoying if you actually don't want that.

The only reason I can think for doing this is so that fat-moused people don't have to precisely locate their mouse pointer over the subject heading for what they want to click to, they can just click anywhere in the square. Strikes me as lazy or (perhaps) easier for people who are drunk.

Don't mean to gripe - the forum is great - but can we have it back the old way please?

Edit: Oh - happy to help if you need help - don't know much about vBulletin but I'm across most other things...

Thanks for the feedback Brettski, we will have a look.

We just finished the upgrade 10 - 15 minutes ago we will be fixing / improving / modifying over the next week or so. JimmyB is currently busy working on the new portal system.

Keep the feedback coming.

I like the new colour scheme, less taxing on the eyes. And I can see how many posts I made.
