Thanks. I have to mention though, that these aren't designed especially for offroading. You'll get alot more use from them around town and on holiday.
If you are looking for something that holds them in the back,
check my first design, the War Hammer:

Not offroad? I've not heard of going on holiday without offroading. What an idea! It never would have occurred to me!
As for the rest, the footpegs are the stupidest idea I've ever seen, for a whole lot of reasons, but the Lights Out clips are great, and I already got myself some.

Just calling it how I see it. I thought I was quite balanced.
External footpegs must surely be illegal here, allowing your limbs outside the vehicle where you can squash them and rip them off. Dumb idea.
But the light clips are great. Simple, cheap, effective, easy to use... a great idea.

well, here in the us where your left foot controls the break, it's quite common for people to hang their feet out when the doors are off.
As for the off-roading, please understand me correctly -- I'm not saying you can't go off-roading with my rack, I'm just saying that to say it is bad because you may hit a tree branch is missing the point. It's not JUST for off-roading, it's for all driving situations.
Steve - thanks, but I don't mind. This is just the kind of feedback I want, but I haven't heard anything yet that would make me think I need to redesign anything.

If you build it, they will come.
I'm sure people will like the rack. It seems to do just the job that some people want.
I'm finding myself with a bit of a list of things I want that no-one builds. Rear security cage, overhead door rack, underbody smoke machine, anti-theft electrified seat, overhead gun rack, a pin system or something to hold the rear door open... and a few other things,

Tommo,
Someone does make something to hold the tailgate open. Or used too anyway. But for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it. www.quadratec.com maybe??????
