Thanks Mikey, Auto1 has them for about $18 each (Chatswood) $21 in Wiatara Auto 1. I will see if Mannell Motors stocks them, they are doing my service from now on (if they do a good job ).

As for engine oil, I believe that Mobil 1 synthetic is the go.

Iridium is just a type, such as Platinum. Most brands such as Bosch, NGK, Champion etc produce them.

Mannell Motors did my service today, I'm happy with there efforts and how the KJ now drives. I got the iridium spark plugs that Mikey posted and the oil they used was Pennziol. So far I've noticed a quicker/better acceleration & smother running, other than that it's all good and no extra problem found. The price was great (much less than JEEP), so much so that I treated myself to a tow hitch recovery hook , it's the same as the one in the top left cnr of this pic (but red and black).

Now I don't have to get out in the mud and put a shackle in . The KJ will be going back to Mannell Motors for it's next service and a new toy. I had a look at the HD light globes so that may be sooner rather than later.
