He imported them from the US as they were not available! That was about a year ago now so not sure if they have become available here yet.

Except the dollar is low and freight is high looks like that size is on the MT Aus website so might be lucky? The local tyrepower up here stocks them.

The only Jeeps (or any car for that matter) I see that do not do very well on the sand are them that are set up mainly for road travel.
I get on Stockton Beach NSW a lot fishing and pull many jeeps ( and others ) out, the way some of these cars are set up I would not like to take them of the sealed road let alone the beach and sand.
My WJ is fine on the beach and I have do something stupid to get stuck and that is with MT tyers as well.
My biggest problem on the beach is with over heating as it is with many cars.

Interested to hear what you think of the ATZ P3's .... they're on my shortlist for the next set of tyres.

My mate with the P3's loves them. He replaced his old 265/70 Mickey 4 ribs on his 2 door Rubi with the 315/70 P3's. I seriously considered them in 245/70 for my new KL Trailhawk, but decided to go with the Duratracs instead due to the extra sidewall tread/traction since I cant go wier than 245 and have set going on tomorrow

people spend far too long worrying about what tyres they're going to use.
