I am keen to hear your opinion as to the light pattern and focus. My current LED inserts have a nice straight lo beam cut off but a previous set had a curved pattern and were possible to align correctly.

Bit the bullet and ordered a set od H7 for the Mini high beam and a set of H4 for the bike and the missus's scooter. Will try them in the Jeep first and if I like them get another set for the bike

Make sure to keep us posted. I saw these online and was wondering what the heck the metal strips were for

Did a lot more searching last night and found a few reviews and the only bad ones I found were from people who hadn't even seen them. So looking forward to having a play! Will update when I get them.

OK Update:

Packet arrived nice and quick

Replaced the fog lights in the JK first. Should point out that these ones are not PSX24W like they should be, they are H16's. Apparently there are some out there but I couldn't be stuffed hunting around and waiting

Living on the Sunny Coast I don't actually use fog lights, so they are set up (with the ProCal) as Day Running Lights so are only actually used in broad daylight hence why I was after a little bit brighter output. Outside they look great and are not blinding to oncoming traffic since they follow the stock fog cutoffs quite nicely. There is very little bleed above the line, especially when you consider that photo is in the dark (10:30 last night) at about 4 foot from the roller door.

Stock Fogs:

One LED fitted:

Both fitted:

Also upgraded the H7 high beam in the missuses mini Cooper:

Stock high beam only:

Stock on the right, LED on the left:

Both LED:

EDIT: The before shots are with the bonnet closed and the after is with the bonnet up a little so the lights are higher looking before anyone asks (headlights are in the bonnet)

Now just waiting for the H4's to turn up to try on my old bike and the missuses scooter!

Been running for a few days now and all good. Only strange bit is the missuses mini. On starting it the systems checks make tje high beam Leds flick 13 times in about 3 seconds then all is normal!

Overall quite happy with the result and cant wait for the H4s for the bike.

Just went for a run up the motorway in the Mini and I am very impressed with these as a replacement for the stock 55w H7 high beams. Heaps brighter and a very nice white to match the factory HID low beams. In fact prob even a little whiter than the factory HID...
