Long time no post, I ended up returning the electronic distributor, since I couldn't get the thing to work. I've a feeling it was faulty, because everything I've read about it says it's the "plug and play" type, using all old ignition parts (including an internal or external coil resistor). I'll have another go at it when I have some money and time spare!
In other news, I have proof that the F Head can be turbocharged.
Personally I don't like the draw through setup, because it's drawing a heavier mixture of air/fuel all the way through the turbo and intake tubing. An intercooler would also be nice. But as before, I'll do it when I have the time and money... He reckons it's made a big difference in power, and the fact that you can bolt it all onto a rebuilt engine and run with it is kinda cool. With all that extra air flow, I think a bigger carb might also be in order. But that might just be me.
