OK just an update, i am NEARLY done, i found out today the axle is bent but that is no big deal, as i have now got my springs all mounted and everything setup so its only a matter of swapping the axle over when i get a new one, i still have to re wire it and weld a plate for the coupling but then its all go!

all the pics are at
http://www.aussiejeepimages.com/gall...ailer_buildup/

i also ended up finding a treg coupling for a decent price (still over priced if you ask me) an das soon as i get some 10mm plate it will be on too, then its over some corrigations for some testing!

Why didn't you put some desent springs underneath it after all this trouble?? They longer they are the better they absorb the bumps while still rated for the same load. These short ones just transfer the vibes and hits straight into the chassis and body work and everything contained in your trailer!

Hey Yumpet, that wheel looks awfully close to the guard in that last pic.....
What did you pay for the treg?

yeah gojeep i know that, i was talking to a fella at the spring shop up here, the only problem is that even with me being patient and waiting, for a set of say hilux springs or something simlar he wanted about $200 a side and when i went too tell him to stick it, i realised there was no where else, one of the joys about the outback, i had to get what i could when i could, these ones are fairly soft, i really wanted too put my XJ springs under it but i didn't have too room for a trailer and pulled apart car in the carport

and JJ i got it from a shop up here for about $300 the guy stuff up though it was on the shelf for $400, oh and when the spring compresses they move back hence moving the wheel away from the guard, but yeah it does look close
