Never thought about it... I have a soft top for a reason... I like the wind in my hair

Wife loves it to... never put the kid in there without the top on...

I am running the soft top, find it "hotter" than the hard top in summer though...

Cheers

You'll notice that many convertable cars have a deflector fitted to the top of the windscreen that is hinged and sprung & goes up when the top's down. The sunroof of my old Mercedes 380SE has one and it makes a huge difference. If I'm doing even only 60 or 70KMH with the sunroof open and reach up and press the deflector back down against the spring with my hand there is an instant increase in noise & buffeting.

I've been looking at fabbing up something similar to this on my JK, so it's out of the way and invisible from the outside but then automatically springs up into place when I remove the freedom panels.

Had a look at the wifes RAV4 and yup I see what your talking about... just take off the doors and the roof all will be sweet

But woudl that deflector get in the way of the soft top or hardtop?? It would work like the ones we put on the bonnet I guess?

Spoke to Quadratec and they said it doesn't interfere with the softtop at all.

Got one on the way so can let you know if you want.

Also have the mirror relocation brackets on order. So the doors may soon be off.
