I dont think youll regret buying the rubi mate, once you buy a jeep you get a thing called the "Jeep Bug"...it makes you want to take your Jeep anywhere and everywhere and spend every last cent of your wages modifying it to make it go more places, most Jeep buyers think they wont get it buts inevitable you WILL get it, and if you dont get it, god bless you, Buying a rubi will give you a big head start with the diff lockers, lift, different ratios and does the JK even come with bigger tyres? My vote is get the rubi if you cant afford it....

The bug does bite indeed, I spent more money selecting recovery gear then modifing the car - will go the JK Diesel next year and it will only have a 2 inch lift and good tyres to start with. My TJ has 31's and a lot of stickers to protect the paint.

If you expect to go offroad every other weekend then the Rubi would be the option to go for long term, especially if you plan on doing some more extreme stuff. However, the Sport will be a better option if you're only going to go offroad once a month or so or are very new to the whole idea. Lockers are great for those who want/need them but for the unexperienced they can get you into more trouble sometimes.
