the locker indicator lights will flash whilst they are engaging.
once they are engaged (you need to be moving for this to happen) they will stop flashing but remain lit.

I have a JK Rubicon. It has only done 4100 Kms. Have had no issues with the rear diff and no recall notice.

I find the Diff locks will lock if you are moving slightly forward.
Not a good idea to engage them when you are turning though.
They only engage if 4WD HI or 4WD LO.

if its just the rear diff cover it was probably just a leak from the original gasket, does it really matter? you're going to be removing it again to fit a decent diff cover anyway.

worry about what could be wrong once it breaks?

Mine leaked at 48000kms, I fixed it with a shiny new ARB diff cover.

they only work in 4LO.

to get them to work in 4HI or 2HI you will need to alter the wiring to fool the computer into thinking its in 4LO.

Hey Casey, have you changed the wiring on yours to get the locker to engage in H2, H4. ?

I have located the relay for the locker but thats as far as I have gone.
