Fortunately though from what I have read, it seems rare for coolant to find it's way in to the oil, otherwise oil cooler failure would almost certainly spell death for an engine. The oil pressure is always higher than the coolant pressure even at idle hence one way travel.

When the oil cooler died on mine there was no sign of water in the oil, but there was oil and additional pressure in the cooling system.

EGR would certainly be a possibility as a leaking EGR could send coolant in to the manifold with the exhaust gases causing the symptoms experienced...

Thank you very much for all replies.
It seems like there are many ways that oil can get into the coolant side. However, there are a couple of more symptoms so I am about 80-90% sure it could be a gasket failure. main symptoms I noticed are,
  • oil in coolant
    Water in oil
    White smoke
    Loss of engine power
    Shaky engine at lower speed
Exhaust smoke smells like unburnt diesel
    Pressure built-up in coolant bottle

I will have a thorough look into it during the weekend.

Crazy shit right there. Doesn't inspire confidence in the quality control or ability to make parts to a tight and consistent tolerance. That range of deck clearance probably indicates variations in big end and gudgeon bearings.

What codes are being thrown ??? Heads or EGR would be throwing heaps but need something like Apha OBD to read them properly.

Does the header tank get frothy ? It will pressurize normally so that not a worry but the coolant should just flow, if its bubbles/froths then thats a head gasket.

Thank you very much for all suggestions.
the car does not show any of faulty codes.
Finally I started the repair of the car last week. I tool most of the parts on top of the engine off and then decided to perform a compression test. The results of each cylinder are 1-320psi, 2-250psi, 3-0psi, 4-30psi, 5-320psi and 6-250psi. I am wondering why the compression of cylinder 3 is zero. is it could be something with piston or valves? or else I have missed something? I'll keep you updated how things going.
Thank you!
