My economy from Port Kennedy to North Fremantle in the 05 KJ was about 520km when all the arb and cooper gear was added. But when I was home on holidays and did the school bit and shopping like you do that dropped to about 400km no probs.
Try keeping the revs to or under 2000RPM. I found that that helped out a bit also. I also got better fuel economy using Caltex Vortex RON 95 than 91 RON.
