I mainly got it because it only weighs 1 ton, is easy to park, can get up/down gutters or stairs if needed, etc. and isn't made a s a perishable item like most of the modern cars seem to be. Also got it to keep some points, I've lost over 80 over the years, and it's time to stop and smell the roses as I chug past.

Absolutely my sentiments! Nice to hear for a change. Getting sick of the "going from 33's to 37's" type threads.
Keep her stock and viable. A loverly vehicle just as she is. Designed for her time and place and a bluddy good design at that. Just remember to wear a kidney belt when driving...
My hats off to you for keeping "her" in shape. Having said that, I have seen an MB with a small block Chevy installed and ...... 'nuff said....
