I've run bighorns for years now, around 4 or 5 actually. Cheap and fairly tough, the 35's cost me $289 a piece

Cheers

Hard to say, mine has done some big trips but isn't a daily driver so I haven't really kept track of the KM's. The last set got damaged at the bead when they were taken off the rim due to age and fatigue, this was before they were completely stuffed.

Cheers
Steve

"LT" means Light Truck which means heavier duty basically in the construction of the tyre.
I only run LT tyres for offroad use and on my trailer....

LT means Light Truck construction which will have a 6, 8, or 10 ply construction depending on size. Anything else is a passenger construction, usually designated as P at the start of the size. This is the case even with AT (All Terrain) tyre patterns as well. If planning any serious offroad the LT type tyres are a better bet but are heavier and therefore increase unsprung weight & fuel consumtion.
Sorry for the rant.
