Yeah 9 and 3/4... The 60 doesn't look noticeably larger to me when I look at them..

Good idea. Time for a rant.

IMHO problem with jeep drivers is many of them have no concept of the term "budget" and no concept of "easily available" and think with no logic whatsoever.

"Easily available" does not mean a phone call to wooders and wait a few days or order from the USA and wait a few weeks. Easily available means you break shit, go to repco that afternoon or a local wrecker and get a new bit. basically 24hr turn around for even major component failure.

As for budget, more often than not they have these hopes and dreams of making something similar to a Dynatrac or Korma Rock Jock or SOLID maybe he will send it to me Industries but due to cost compromise they end up using 30yr old junk from the scrapyard in order to conform to the expected standard of custom Dana 69 tractor junk with Ford knuckles and Chevy valve caps and spending thousands of dollars sourcing parts from vehicles which weren't even common in this country and haven't had parts stocked for them in a little over 20 yrs. This comes back round to the "easily available" thing.

Unless you're willing to shell out the $ on the real deal why not compromise on locally available items so if you break your sub-standard gear you can replace it quickly & easily? For a low budget fun machine it makes alot more sense. Breaking shit is fun when it doesn't cost the earth to replace.
