Yeah I agree

I was just thinking of liability issues as DBOR is a "business" and someone may do the whole "But this business told me I can do it, they never said it was illegal"

I wasn't trying to be an arse, just looking out for the great suppliers we have on this site to make sure they don't end up in any legal battles (no matter how minor the possability)

EDIT: Says the guy with a link in his sig on how to disable safety features of your JK LOL

It's all a bit of a moot point as most of us have done plenty of other mods which are technically illegal but dont be a dick and you shouldnt have a problem.
x2 on your thoughts.

If engineered properly, bolt on are "safe" in the sense that they put no more stress on the vehicle than a larger offset rim.

I believe these are what the laws try and prevent us from using (which is fair enough)

Hmmm...that has just perked up my curiosity.

I wonder if what you have linked to Yom is actually legal.

I was definitely refering to the wheel spacers when making my references, wonder if DBOR was talking about what you linked to instead of what I was thinking of.

dbor sells the bolt on spacers/adaptors AFAIK.

They are still 100% illegal in QLD. But our laws lean to the blanket type of if the manufacturer didn't do it then what they have installed from the factory is not suited to the the modification. It makes a fair bit of sense for a few things despite being quite frustrating for 4wders.
