Problem with the JK 2 door is the seats dont slide forward far. Borrow a capsule and try to put it in the back. Then imagine doing it with a baby in it...
Hate to say it Benny but I think the missus will get jack of it very quickly. Uless you swap to the soft top and pull it down totally every time
Just talked it over with the boss (we have no plans of any more kids BTW as she has worked in child care for 20 years) and she said no way, wouldnt even attempt it.

Thanks for the responses everyone. We have talked about it and have decided to do some trial runs with some gear and see how thing go. I guess we are still living the “glory days” with the jeep and are not in a hurry for that to end.
Thinking about this a bit more... maybe i'm a cynic but this is an age old question,
Single bloke has nice 2 door car, meets girl, girl gets preggers, demands guy sells car as she cant get baby in and out of the back easily.
IF YOU CANT MOVE A BABY IN AND OUT OF A BACK SEAT OF THE CAR YOU ARE UNFIT!
get down the gym and work on your jelly belly!
really its just a power play, its your car you bought it cos you liked it... dont give it up!

I have a tj and a baby. It was a bit of a hassle when she was tiny. Now that the seat is facing forward, it is easy as. Can only seat 4 (including baby) but that is all it is meant to do.
Side-note: really looking forward to getting around with the top down now that good weather has reached us in VIC
Ibwould take some advice on here with a grain of salt. You can make it work with a two door but it is difficult in the short term but a four door is an obvious choice. A happy wife is a happy life
