Mine isn't flanged either, it had a coupling with a pipe clamp over it which they had to cut off with an oxy and then re-weld a small pipe in to extend it a little... However if you good with a welder, i would imagine that getting a cat with flanges on it, and putting flanges on the piping wouldn't be to difficult...

i tryed to do that cheap flange option years ago with a comodore and the walker bolt on system from repco it does not work all it takes is one side of your flange to be on a diferant angle and your stuffed just my thoughts

yep, which is why I was looking for a slot in fitment. The magnaflow sounds like the best bet then.

my cat is flanged, but as i said, the whole exhaust system was re-done at the time to a 2 1/2" with a straight through muffler.... at the time the cat cost $50

i aggree, if I was doing the whole exhaust, commodore is the way to go. Plentiful and cheap. Cant afford to at this time though....
