The last thing you want to do is fit bigger tyres until you get the suspension sorted as they will just make things worse when they start rubbing.
Spacers and add-a-leaf type lifts are only a temporary measure and will end up costing you more in the long run....

Spacers probably ok with lifted springs, otherwise its just wasted money.

+1

From my research start with swaybar disconnects up front and ditch the rear swaybar if you have one. Always air down too.

Then you can look at some 30/31s and a quality 3" lift kit. Any bigger tyre/lift than that and your cost jumps considerably with things like regearing, stronger diff components and slip yoke eliminators. But I'd be starting with proper rated recovery points before even doing this.

The budget boosts you see online will give you less overall flex unless you swap for longer shocks which are probably of questionable quality anyway - considering they are marketed as "budget".

I have had a look around you can get coils for the front fairly cheap (under 200) but the coat of lifted leafs is a bit out of my budget at the moment.

I have a bastard leaf pack in the back of mine, basically a stock pack with a leaf or two taken out and others added, one from a Toyota!!! in there somewhere I think.

Cost was pretty minimal, I also have extended shackles but that was more for additional lift. Anyway, you can see even with a cheapass leaf pack it flexes well and is pretty balanced with the front. Also carries a load well. I'd say if you're tight on cash try picking up a second leaf pack and putting something together, also google bastard leaf pack.

Cheers
Steve

Disconnecting the swaybar was the best thing I ever did.
Cheapest flex gain ever, you'll be surprised. I was

That's good to know about a bastard pack. My mate it putting a set of lifted leads in his cruiser today!! So I'm going to hit him up for his old ones. Could be a prick of a job but I'll give it a go.

Also does anyone know about getting lifted coils. I have read that the sport is 2" higher than the classic. So to get a 2" lift am I going to have to get 4" springs?
