Having done a fair bit of offroad touring, not towing, (Gibb, Tanami, Arnhem Hwy etc) really didn't hardly need 4wd but did need the extra clearance then spent next 99% of time in town. Therefore the ability to adjust height when needed and not have a tractor when not sold me. It was also why I got the Overland, it was way cheaper than building up with the bits I wanted. Though I ended up with the sunroof which I really wasn't fazed by. Fantastic vehicle and can't beat the value! My second Jeep.

Thanks for all the feed back, sorry the car I'm interested in is the grand cherokee. I'm heading out tomorrow for a test drive and negotiations which is always fun! Do any of you know if the new model coming out has any major change apart from the grill and headlights?

Not to mention any change in tyre size at this stage as well. Of course if the lift is approved by the vehicle manufacturer or comes with a recalibration of the ESC it's OK. Can't see Jeep or any manufacturer approving anything and recalibration when available is just going to make legal lifts that much dearer. Heard ARB are working on some stuff but not sure if it's true or not.
