My July rant is more of a WTF moment.

Went to pick up some bread and eggs this morning. Parked in front of the Vietnamese bakery and the baker inside is staring at me. I come out from the shop beside him with my eggs and he is looking around the car.

I go up to his counter to buy bread and he asks "That your car?" (the one he watched me drive in)
Me: "Yes"
Baker: "Your car 4wd or 2wd." (2013 JKU, 2" lift, 33's, ARB front bar etc)
Me: "4wd"
Baker: "I really like your car. I like to buy car like yours. Maybe I can borrow your car one Day to see if I like before I buy."
Me: "Mate, the only person I let drive my car is my wife. So, unless we get married, unlikely" (Polite chuckle)
Baker: looks confused... "I'm already married"
Me: "Me too. I was joking."
Baker:Laughs... "Joking. OK. I not marry boys. You joking good. So, maybe I borrow your car one day." (More statement than question)
Me: "I think about it and let you know chief"

Then makes me break a $20 note because. I am 5c short for bread....

WTF??

Hmmm, earlier this week...

...waiting for several days to book in my Jeep at the ACT RTA for a VIN check...

...waiting for over an hour on a freezing Canberra morning while the peanut finds his reading glasses, tries to locate the compliance plate, (despite telling him where it was several times) and checks, checks again, makes himself a cup of tea and checks again just incase it changed in the meantime...

...paying $45.70 for the privilege...

...being told I need a another RWC because he thinks it's been lifted more than 2", even after I informed him that it was completely stock...

...giving me a mouthful after I dragged his supervisor down to look at the car and get cleared for rego without a second RWC...

If I ever lose the plot and go on a shooting spree, I know where it'll be.

Good on ya Beard for sticking to a guns on that one.

Me I have had two job interviews in 18 months and that is with over 100 applications. This time was looking promising. However I have been waiting over a week since my second interview and still no answer. WTF I am used to hearing no so it will come as no surprise. Just wish they would put me out of my misery and confirm what I suspect. I even called them two days ago and still nothing. .

Regards A
