I have found genuine mopar / jeep parts 65-50% cheaper inc air freight from USA.
Aftermarket parts are even less.

my WH CRD just clicked over 273000 k's I have a provent gde tune 3 inch pipe and kn filter panel the motor is fantastic mine was using oil have now gone to mineral oil doesn't use a drop now

I will be shortening service intervals only because mineral oil is substantially cheaper and I get the oil filters by the box from the US
have had problems with electrics transmision brakes car had a full dealership ship history also have constant problem's with tpms system wish I could disconnect it but apart from that its never let me down got a constant p0652 fault code when I accelerate round left hand corners dealer has no idea
I am going to drive it till whatever is faulty dies have spent enough already

Will report back after making some phone calls today to find out extra info from the previous owner + dealership that serviced it.

I rekon if I land the Jeep i'll invest in one of the GDE tunes as I was reading in one of those threads that Clarky posted that you can use it as a code reader after applying the tune, sounds like a good deal to me with the added power + efficiency and having my own diagnostic device!

TPMS = tyre pressure management?

That's just incredible - perhaps a business opportunity for some smart cookie to offer a localised parts supply service - bit of local competition would quickly bring the other local prices down i rekon :P

Nah, Jeep parts from dealers are just as pricey as Toyota, Nissan etc and aftermarket spares are avaiable in Oz, especially with a MB engine just have to look around. Buying OS can be great except when you get the wrong part or it's stuffed.
