Thanks very much for the replies guys. I also enquired with AEV and was told that they are both suitable for highway speeds. Only thing though is to install it such that the particle debris ejection duct faces the back of the truck. With the soft top on I didn't notice an increase in noise level. So I guess I'll leave it on during summer and stick the air ram back on during winter.
