You can do a proper lift starting from around a grand, this will allow up to 245/75's.

Haven't had experience with spacers personally.

Some guys have had good results with Diesels as it gives a true lift equal to what's quoted. But it's fair to say nobody will recommend this path on either model. Do yourself a favour get a decent spring and shock lift as everything is already sagged and worn. Do you right spend your money once. Also 265/75s are just too big. You will have to run more offset on the rims and do extensive cutting of inner liners, flares and bumper if you don't have a steel bar.
As suggested don't go over 245/75/16s. If you want to do trimming speak with Dissociative as he has done this with 31/10.5/15s

Yep, loads of trimming - and the fronts still rub at lock. Economy has taken a huge hit as it revs much higher than it used to (really notice it around 80kmh), and that's with the 6spd. With the petrol basically add re-gearing to that list. It does go great off road though!

Based on my experience I just don't see how 265/75/16 (32"s) would work, without going for a 4" JBA lift etc.

That said, Tom&Phet on here has them on his, though they were already on when he bought it so previous owner did the work.

If you were determined, I'd say start with a chat to Stu at Murchisons in QLD. He probably has the most experience with the KJ's domestically and is the AU dealer for some stuff you'll need, so you'll likely end up buying from him anyway.

Actually, probably the better option if you think you definitely need 32"s is sell it and buy a JK!

What do you mean by revving higher with the larger tyres Dissociative? That should actually be the opposite way around if you're travelling at the same speed (measured by a GPS) in the same gear. Or do you mean that you have to work it harder?

Just remember that your speedo (and odometer) will be reading under by around 7% with the 31" tyres on as well. i.e. Standard 235/70 R16 = 735.4mm vs 31" = 787.4mm.

787.4 - 735.4 = 52mm; 52/735.4 = 0.071 or 7.1%

That's what I expected, but according to the gps speed on my torque app/nexus 7 it's still spot on at 100kph. Not sure how reliable that is though..

Re the revs, at around 80 it's revving around 2,250-2,500 (from memory ) and feels /sounds like it needs to shift up but doesn't. Need to speed up or slow down basically for things to settle down.

Just kept track of mileage for the first time and got 450km from a tank, so around 15.5L/100 with one powerlines run (about 4hrs) and the rest inner city/suburbs driving. I know the petrols are a good bit worse than that though (ie closer to 20L).
