Terra grapplers in this size have been good so far 25k. Are LT construction which few in this size are. Bit noisy over 80kms especially on concrete road

I stayed with the original size and went with the D697. They went places in the Kimberley that were shredding other tyres without getting a single chip. Very happy with them. Can't speak for mud, where I like to travel these days they tend to close the roads . Very happy with them on bitumen wet or dry. Mine have done 15,000km most of that towing withoutnshowing any undue signs of wear.

Great responces so far thanks. My neighbor has ST maxx on his new Amarok and I have been invited to punt it around next time it rains. My car currently has Goodyear Wranglers and they have been Indestructible off road but I'd like a bit more sidewall and the gearing chance the extra 20mm offers with the larger size offers should hopefully offset some of the extra fuel consumption.

When our Kumos died at 38000 I changed the 20's to 18's and was going to go with the Geolanders but went to the Bridgestone D697's. Can't fault them so far, very quiet on the bitumen, missus happy
Glad we got them, extra piece of mind being the LT construction. We are off in May around OZ for 2 years living in the van.
Just got 4 BFG AT KO 235/75/15 for the caravan on Fri they are LT as well, they are on special @ $100 off ea! yay!
Cheers Gary

I've got st max on my kk. Haven't done as much off-road with them as would like to have but haven't had any problems. Onroad, no scary moments in the wet but I always put it in 4 hi. They do give off a bit of road noise and if you don't rotate them they get very loud. All up I would buy them again

Sorry for being a newbie here, but what is "LT" construction? I want some AT tyres when I need to replace the Michelin 18s that are on our GC.
